Date:    Thursday, 10 September 2020 –  Launch and Conference

Streaming on-line
Time:    10.30 am – 3.00 pm – click here for programme

Our intial event in October 2019 was a taster event where AIMH (UK) practitioners from all over the South West, dicussed the setting up of an IMH Hub in Bristol/South-West (Eastern Region) and a potential Bristol South-West (Western Region) IMH Hub

The day included Robin Balbernie’s hugely impactful presentation ‘The Influences of Early Relationships on Brain Development’ and following this practitioners had the opportunity to network with each other and consider what they may want out of an IMH Hub.

AIMH (UK) regional Infant Mental Health Hubs enable practitioners to support each other in their IMH work and further development of expertise. It also allows members of a multi-disciplinary team to link up and develop local services. Each Hub has at least one Hub Lead and all IMH Hub members must be a member of AIMH (UK).

The launch and conference is streaming online this year. The title is ‘Being a Father: Challenges and Complexities’ Guest speakers include Anna Machin, Evolutionary Anthropologist and Author of ‘The Life of Dad: The Making of a Modern Father’, Amanda Jones, Consultant Perinatal Psychotherapist and Strategic & Clinical Lead of NELFT NHS Foundation Trust’s Perinatal Parent Infant Mental Health Service and Raquib Ibrahim, Research & Development Manager, Mellow Parenting.
