A lovely example of just one of the handouts from The Centre for Perinatal Psychology's (Australia) new 'Speaking for the Baby Campaign'. These resources encourage parents to ‘see’ their baby with fresh eyes, and understand how their baby communicates, whilst giving some great tips on how to curiously wonder about what is going on inside for their baby.

A link here to a new film put together by the Sussex Perinatal Service that might be of interest. ​It has a nice way of presenting the topic of maternal mental illness and getting help, all in the voice of the parent. It might be useful for midwives to show (it is less than 5 minutes long) in any pre natal class / group. A gentle introduction to a sometimes stressful topic.
