Parent-Infant Psychotherapy - Specialist Training 

Date: 18-month training starting in January 2018

The training derives from the model developed at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families in which psychoanalysis, attachment theory and research, and infant developmental research provide relevant and necessary paradigms for the work. A focus of the Centre's approach is in the work with the baby as patient.

There are seven elements to the PIP Specialist training: 
1. Participation in selected seminars
2. Parent-Infant Psychotherapy with a least four cases
3. Weekly supervision group
4. Monthly participation in PIP clinical meetings
5. Reading seminars
6. Contextual discussion group
7. Quarterly review meetings
