IMH AWARENESS WEEK - 'Mums and Babies in Mind' share plans for the week !

11th June 2018 to 15th June 2018

The Mums and Babies in Mind project supports local leaders in four areas of England to improve care and quality of life for mums with mental health problems during pregnancy and the first year of life, and their babies. They capture and share the work they do to inform and inspire those who commission and provide services across the UK. Mums and Babies in Mind is a Maternal Mental Health Alliance project, hosted by the Mental Health Foundation.

Mums and Babies in Mind are marking #IMHAW18 week by:

  • Publishing a blog by Sally Hogg, Mums and Babies in Mind Strategic Lead, on news from the World Association of Infant Mental Health (WAIMH) congress
  • Publishing their Infant Mental Health masterclass Top Tips report which covers latest evidence on infant mental health and protecting the infant-parent relationship.
  • Promoting their Mums and Babies in Mind blogs on infant mental health topics throughout the week, including those on Video interactive guidance, parent-infant mental health in their project sites and dads’ mental health.
  • Tweeting and posting on LinkedIn on the theme of ‘Breaking the Cycle’
  • Publishing a news story on the Maternal Mental Health Alliance site
  • Sharing their members’ activities during the week
