Longitudinal Developmental Science from Birkenhead to Bangalore: sex differences and pathways from pregnancy to child and adolescents mental health problems

12th October 2017 to 13th October 2017

Fellow researchers and clinicians are invited to join together to discuss future directions and challenges for longitudinal developmental science. This event marks the 10th anniversary of the Wirral Child Health and Development Study (WCHADS) and it will be held jointly with our co-investigators from the Bangalore Child Health and Development study, funded by the Indian Council for Medical Research and the UK Medical Research Council. We are joined by eminent speakers from many leading longitudinal cohorts who will bring rich and varied perspectives on the origins and nature of sex differences in child mental health problems and on current and future challenges for longitudinal developmental science, both in western and low and middle-income (LMIC) settings.
